I liked all of the puzzles except for the last one, I couldn't figure out how to get the laser to hit all 3 reflector thingies. I used the jumppad to get me enough momentum to jump over the gap :

getting the cube up to speed and blasting it straight down the hall at the turrets
.

I enjoyed this part too. Very creative puzzles, nicely done.

Hi, I enjoyed your map a lot, but I think I found an unintended solution in room 3. I never thought of pointing the beam to the right and redirecting it to the left with a portal, like I've seen in the video posted earlier. So after being stuck on "how do I get the beam to the receiver in the other room" for a while, I tried something more direct.

I hope the screenshot is clear enough :

Fantastic and challenging. Compliments to you, good sir, and congrats on the win - definitely worthy.

Great job ! Keep 'em comming !

Heh, that was my method to solving that part. :p

Also, some unrelated fun, in the room before the final test chamber with the overhead decay. You can maneuver up and over the debris, and with some help from the blue beam in the next room, send yourself up to the glass ceiling all the way up top. The view isn't anything to write about, but it's cool just for the sake of doing so. (At least I thought so)

Hey, just wanted to let you know its possible to get stuck in the second chamber.

If I were to go through the orange portal I would be stuck in that area (happened to me so I thought I'd let you know about it.)

Great Map. I really enjoyed the simplicity and difficulty of this map. Although the puzzles did take some thought and backtracking to solve, they were not brain hurting nor aggravating. Thanks for the entertainment

Doing the puzzles was an thrilling pleasure!

Hi, Great map.
I see you are not around here anymore, but I will post it anyway.
First off all, I will not even try to guess how much work you put in to this map. I only started with Hammer. That being said, this is my feedback:
- I really liked the part

Spoiler
with the 2 cubes placed on a wall projector beam so they simultaneously hit the 2 buttons.
The fact that you can stage something and then with one action to have multiple consequences is something original and not even in portal 1 and 2 single campaign you don't see that(not that I can remember). You were more creative than the designers of Portal with that one
- I don't like post-apocalyptic chambers but this one were OK.
- The difficulty level is not intermediate but advanced how others has stated here. You mentioned that is harder than Portal 2 Single player campaign but according to Valve scale your map is still Intermediate. It is an Official valve scale? Please tell me about it :). On my scale if is harder than SPC is Advanced difficulty.
- Chamber 3: very brain squashing. The phase with the laser was very hard to think of even the solution was relatively simple.
Spoiler
I don't like the fact that you can direct the laser through the glass and activate the mechanism;
I think is a glitch. I know you like your maps to have multiple solutions but this feels more like cheating.
That is for now. I will come back with screen-shots and a video to illustrate more clearly.

PS. I have read your "tom-chiu_patent-pending_design-introspection" and I can see that you put a lot of thinking in this project :) Congrats for winning the competition man!

My view about Custom maps: I can't truly realize how much hard work you have put into making one. For that alone (finishing a map) you should be proud. So don't take to hard any negative comments that I or others leave about your map and take it like constructive criticism.
PS. Personally I don't like "athletic maps" were when you don't make it you die or you lose a lot of time. But that's just me.
