There is an obvious resemblance between Chell and Alesia, but I think Chell was made to look that way on purpose. No makeup, a tired haggard look to her face. I mean she is a test subject after all.

Her face was used also in some Star-Fox games as well. . .

After all, if they made the test subject attractive, people will stare into the portals just looking at themselves. I want Zoey to replace Chell, but
