very wierd leaks...

had some really wierd leaking problems with a map im making, ive fixed it but hoping someone can enlighten me as to why they occured.
basically, i kept getting leaks which according to my compile log came from an entity which didnt exist. when i checked the pointfile, the entirety of the red line did not touch any part of my map at any point in any way.
i eventually copied the map in its entirety to a new file and saveed it under a different name, and it compiled without a hitch.
wondering if anyone can tell me why this happened, cause it seems pretty wierd.

I think in terms of boolean variables. Generally, it makes things easier.

Can you post your .log file here?

In half life I use the load point option to remove leaks but in portal 2 there is no default point file... So I can give you one wich is funcional in portal 2.

Post your log too, it will be helpful

umm first of all im pretty sure theres a pointfile, maybe im just a noob but what i used was under the map toolbar and says load pointfile....
umm it wont let me upload my log because it makes the message too long.
just want to check im tryong to upload the right thing, im new to this, when you say log you mean the text document that hammer saves when it compiles, right?
