That is the absolute worst thing that could happen to the Team Fortress 2 workshop.

Which is why it isn't going to happen. Also it would be impractical as the game's design consists of a little more than 128x128 black and white squares.

The only thing that a PTI-like editor for TF2 would make easier would be inserting spawnroom doors and the entity work required for gamemodes, which has already been solved with some comprehensive prefab packs. Hammer is pretty much already the least complicated editor possible.

Yes of course. That's why I said "freakish". Besides, gmod already has map support on the workshop using just hammer.

Lookin nice srs bsnss. I know you to always make great maps. The last picture in the first set looks a tad... Empty. Maybe add some more pipes and ball catchers/launchers along the wall?
