First of all I have to apologise for having neglected this thread for a while.

@josepezdj
Dear friend of mine, you know that isn't true. I only drink Jever-Fun!!!

We usually don't really delete maps unless they're absolutely not enough quality. If they're even a tiny bit enjoyable we often keep them. Your map has 17 votes, 5/5. People like your maps!
The only thing I could do is move you maps to work in progress... ...if you really really want to...

Well, okay then. I think that wouldn't change that much now. Thank you for your consideration.
(My PM to msleeper hasn't been answered by the way. Was still in my outbox. Have deleted it.

Oh noes....
I will never break your maps again (no, in fact I will, whenever I am to stupid to get the solution.
As I said in my first post...awesome mappack, with a mindblowing Laserpuzzle at the end

There's absolutely nothing wrong about "breaking" a map. I really don't think that you could be blamed for mistakes I made. That would be silly, wouldn't it?!
I am only angry about myself for being that stupid. I have hastily tried to fix some issues making further mistakes. After having spent that much time mapping that was really annoying.
Having so little time is my biggest problem right now.

Vielen Dank!

Welcome to being a level designer... now sit back and breathe a little, before you do something rash.

Thanks for the advice - I did! ;)

In everything you design, there will be some unintended issues that will arise, from small visual problems to full-blown progression blocks. Such is the nature of the beast.
You should be happy that:
-Your maps are playable from start to finish, and have a functional intended solution. (Some people fail at this, amazingly)
-It looks amazing
-It's fun to play
-It's brutally hard, but not frustratingly so
-The difficulty is in large part responsible for people trying to cheat and find exploits to work around your intended solutions
-Most if not everyone rated it 5/5
Take a step back and look at all you've accomplished before trashing your maps. Get used to the fact that you will literally NEVER be able to ship a map or a mod that's exactly perfect and functions exactly and only the way you intended.

Thank you for your kind words. Actually I am quite aware of the fact that several maps, if not almost all, are updated many times. I unfortunately have already experienced that with my first map.
The reason for my frustration is mainly having so little time right now. As mentioned above I've tried to fix things too hastily and thus have introduced further issues.
I don't know the reason why, but I am almost completely unable to stress test my own maps when having the intended solution in mind. Besides I am a rather poor Portal player. I don't have any of those ninja-skills required to test certain things. Can't even toss a cube. Some of those ninja-moves make it really difficult to determine distances correctly. I have to get used to add a ninja-margin at certain points ;)

Have just uploaded a sixth version with updates for sp_the_ledge_prt3 and sp_the_ledge_prt4.

Thank GOD!!! Nice to have you back my friend!!!

Know what I'm about to do?? play the 6th version immediately!!

WHAT IS A GOOD MAPPACK WITHOUT A 6th VERSION?? C'MON! Leeeeeeet's ROCKKKK Necati!!!!!

EDIT

OK, done! I've finished the new versions of part3 and part4... Part 4 is almost the same for me... Now I know what I was doing unintended about part3... I like it this way! I think it's a better version than previous one. I really hope I did it all intendedly... I've recorded my playthrough Necati. I have to apologize because of the low settings but it's late and I wanted to make a quick run! and I'm sorry but at the highest settings my run is laggy.

Necati, please let me know when am I supposed to post the video solution for part 3, ok? (I know ppl here haven't figure out about how to deactivate the fizzler....).

Goodnight!

Version 1.7:
- All parts overhauled. Many thanks to Domathan,zivi7, sicklebrick, Shakky, josepezdj and KengKong for pointing out the issues and exploits.
There are still some ninja solutions left which I either found creative enough to leave as is, or weren't able to fix without rearranging the whole map.

@jose
Wait for an email, please! Thanks for your support...(There were some issues in 275 which I fixed with this version)

Great you changed your mind.

Does anyone else get a corrupt download? (I noticed, the file has been updated earlier today)
...current dl v7 gives me a corrupt file, size 6.1 MB
...prev vers. v6 downloads and extracts fine, size 28.7 MB
(I tried both Opera and Firefox with same result)

...eerr...
Since this is my 1st post here (been lurking for a bit), may I also say !THANK YOU ALL @ TWP! for all those fantastic maps. This is some brilliant stuff up here...

Wow, that was quick indeed, thank you very much. ...and yes, this time the download looks and extracts ok....

I just found your map.
I really like the mapping style, exactly my taste! :)
unfortunetely was too hard for me, I enjoy easier puzzles, but justchecked the rest of the maps out to see tha levels... I think I solved some room an unintended way. Or for example in map3 you suppose to hold the redirection cube in the air and while dropping it ninjaing a fast portal behind the closing glass? (in first small room)

-= Check out my maps: workshop, and their .vmf sources: homepage =-

Great map pack!
An atmospheric visual theme, with a good balance between the enormous open spaces and the small enclosed puzzle rooms. The puzzles may seem dauntingly difficult at first, but the solutions are simple enough to be completed in a single segment.

Here's my version of a solution, all 4 parts:
http://youtu.be/cgl4RLue01Y
The video description includes starting times (as links) for each of the 4 parts and each of the main areas.

I aimed for a simple and efficient route, and probably only strayed from the intended path a couple of times in Part I, for the sake of variety and brevity.

Maybe now josepezdj can release the Part III solution video that's been hidden away for the last six months? :)
