I saw many things I liked(gels and hardlight) in this map. But the funnel in the last chamber seems to have no use. I just splashed the gel on the hardlight and dashed forward to press the button to get the box, and didn't use the funnel. Was it the intended solution?

Quote from club on June 4, 2011, 11:26 amWow this was a really great map. And it looked very Valve-official. The backstage area looked like something right out of the official game. And you made some excellent use of light and shadows. And the puzzles themselves were fun without being dead-giveaways. I tip my hat to you sir.

I just solved it without using the funnel OR the light bridge. If you position the portal under the gel dispenser just right, you can spread enough propulsion gel on the white floor to make the jump to the button and release the cube.

Quote from Codename on July 2, 2011, 4:36 pmI kind of liked this map. Me and my friend, Zbot, gave it a go and we liked it so much we wanted to do a review on it for our Portal 2 podkast, ASEMBLE (the Aperture Science Entertainment and Media Broadkast for Latest Enhancements). You should go take a look. I just added a post on that in the off-topic discussion page.

So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:mhwPNPNxFQI

Quote from Eastward on July 30, 2011, 10:50 pmThe map is fun to play. The levels were about medium to easy for solving. Interesting use of elements. The design was good. I thought....to be continued.

P.S. I'm sure the final version will be excellent.

Excellent puzzle, why would you need to press the button to activate the blue stream in the last chamber ? For what ?
