Kinda new here, but I thought I'd help out also. :)

Good map and puzzles.

Had one place I was able to get "Outside" the map without dieing... from the outside catwalk, I went right rather than left. At the far edge of the catwalk you can see and hit a portalable surface. When I went through, I fell to the bottom and didn't die. I was walking around outside the map...

Got a screenshot to help out.

Now I have played your maps, and wow! A lot of work must have gone into making all that stuff. I wouldn't work that hard unless I was getting paid to do it, and I think your work is as good if not better than most of the stuff that the folks at Valve did.

Generally, I liked the puzzle elements, too. However, putting the laser on the first target wouldn't stick. I would hit it, start to run for the bridge, and then it would slip off to the side. It took me several tries before it stayed on the target. Although it's not your fault I handicap myself by playing with a controller, getting through that bit in time is a little tough when you run like a drunken sailor (no bunnyhopping here!)

Like the previous poster, I got stuck at the beginning of part two. Behind the crates beneath the square catwalk around the pneumatic tube, there is portal material. Not knowing any better, I walked into the pit and got stuck behind the vent. I turned on fullbright so I could see where I was. Stuck in sp_02_custom

There is portal material on the other side of the vent, but I couldn't get to it.

In the end, this is the most like the original game as any I've played, without being an obvious copy of the game. Fix the holes in the map, and it's an easy 5/5. As is, it only gets 4/5 from me.

Lost interest on the whole thing during map 1... first I got stuck in the room behind the laser grid.. had to die to reset... then, the mechanics of getting the cube to align again properly with the laser receptor are so random it's stupid. I've seen this kind of thing happen in maps using a similar tactic, and I never finished those either.. The fix... put a square cube slot on the ceiling so when the cube gets there it self aligns..

I did not play the rest of the map as I figured the mechanics would be just as sloppy. 3/5

You need to change the name of the download file when you update it or it wont work. I downloaded it and the files are identical to the originals.

Really excellent map. Lots of work involved and creative design. Multiple chambers and challenging puzzles. Thanks for creating.

I actually forgot to post my rating for this map before. Now, having played the updated version, things went much more smoothly. I should have asked for just a little more light BTS at the start of the second part, but even so, I've upgraded my rating to 5/5.

Great map!

I enjoyed the map but I encountered two major "problems":
1) I got stuck after the first door. (I guess I played v1.0 (I skipped the funnel part))

Spoiler
I aimed the laser on the obvious door opener using two portals misplaced one, stood next to the door, placed the portal properly and got in between those two rooms.

2) The turrets are something that really help you in puzzle two. Let me show you that in a video, which I will upload later.

Other than that, good work, 4/5 great!

Thanks dude, the video really helped, I finished the fixes, the problem with the door is a little more complicated then it will take longer to correct. The rest is done. =)
