[SP] Aperture Science Turret Test

PreviousPage 2 of 2

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

Without meaning to I went backwards before the test and the door closed in front of me. Fix with a push or something?

Just finished it, I loved it! Excellent! 5 stars~

Really nice map!

At first though, I didn't realise the diversiry vents were working.. so I knocked all the turrets down by hand, and jumped inside the vent... might be worth blocking that so we can't jump out the other end!

Still, 5/5 :)

4/5. I liked the way you placed the tiles to give a subtle hint. That gave me the idea to try sucking the window out of the observation room to get at the companion cube. The glass didn't break or anything, but the cube did get sucked through the vent and I heard it being destroyed, and spawned another cube in the room which did not get sucked out.

IMHO, a better solution to preventing players from abducting turrets is to place them behind grates. In this map, I really wanted to grab one turret to try and shoot out the glass in the OR.

I'm glad to see you're experimenting with other elements as well, e.g. the cameras and monitors. I'm hoping that pretty soon you run out of things to test and decide to sit down and design a full-blown map.
