Invisible Light Bridge

PreviousPage 2 of 2

I think it sounds like a potentially fun map. I would suggest using paint instead of water, so that once the bridge is discovered it will remain marked by the paint. This will make it easier to walk across, too.

I don't know how to make an invisible light bridge, but maybe you could use a brush and a trigger that plays a sound of footsteps, if you can find a sound that is close to the one you want.

I do believe you'd have to use a custom texture and assign it a custom surface properties entry.

In my humble opinion, I think it's a terrible idea.

A map should be fun, not frustrating. Making things invisible generally has the tendency of creating frustration.

Being a fan of super meat boy, I don't completely agree with this, but I do agree that it is a terrible idea.

Btw if you're using paint instead of water, i'm having a lot of trouble making an invisible brush get painted correctly...

look at my post in the thread i started then i did not find any thing useful and you may use the solution i used post60871.html#p60871 the only bad with that solution is that you cant shot throe the layer but that is a small price to pay :P

I doubt this guy is still looking for an answer. He hasnt posted since the 5th and 70% of his posts are in release threads.

"Oh, in case you got covered in that repulsion gel, here's some advice the lab boys gave me: DO NOT get covered in the repulsion gel."

Oh i read this, but i quited with this idea after the most of the feedback says this will not be funny. Perhaps i put a little puzzle with this idea in my new Map if this work. Thank you for your post.
