Thanks for the link. I found this but it's too high powered. I need a lower powered one that you can still see it's entire beam. Also, I live in the UK, so is it still possible to get them here?

I more or less agree with Sleeper and Spam Nugget, you ask a lot of questions that can either easily answered by google: "Buying laser in the UK" or are questions that aren't really easily answered by mappers or people who enjoy playing portal, which is the audience for this website. If you're really going to built a turret I think you'd be better of asking these question on a website with a lot of technical people interested in electrical/mechanical engineering.

once you've finished your turret we'd love to see the end result of course

Man, one thread about whatever, to simply get out of the ordinnary mapping day, is good, wether if it's written by one of the administrators or not. But I'm only pointing out thast you've opened all these threads in a short period of time and only said that it seemed to me like if you just post every reflexion you have about something related to Portal. That also shows that you really like the game though, same as the rest of us... so again, I'm speaking with no offense at all, and I NEVER said I hated your threads either.
