Where do I find the instancing menu to check that?

Quote from Robdon on December 5, 2011, 3:04 pmHi,
I think its because you have your vmf file in another dir, compared to where hammer 'expects' it.
The 'file name' in the func_instance for the vmf, is relative to where your .vmf is.
So, from your compile screenshot you have your map in: D:My Stuff2nd_map.vmf
When you install hammer etc, it puts the instances in Program FilesSteamSteamAppscommonportal 2sdk_contentmapsinstances
Normally you just create your own maps in Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonportal 2sdk_contentmaps
But if you put them somewhere else like you have then you have to copy the instances you want to your own dir also.
So either put your map in C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonportal 2sdk_contentmaps or copy the instance you want to D:My Stuffinstancesturbine_elevator
Think that will fix it for you...
Rob.
