You're right ... I fixed up all the labels, un-intended, etc. but fucked up the laser gate

I was able to complete it with the intended solution on the old map.

Is there a way to bypass this "Steam-Subscribe" thing? Can I download the map files directly and add them manually, as you did in the old days? That was waaaaay faster than this. Now, I have to restart Portal 2 everytime I want to add a new map/level, and the ingame download process takes at least 5-10 minutes. (With 20 Mbit/s). The manual download/install was about 1-2 minutes (with installation).

So is there any other way to do it?

Unfortunately not unless the author decides to upload their map elsewhere. Try adding items to your queue before you launch Portal 2 - that makes it so you don't have to relaunch it.

Ah, okay, thanks anyway Yeah, I do that right now but, I'd prefer the good old "copy & paste into the Maps folder" way. That was faster, easier, and as I remember the files were hosted on this site, you didn't have to share it on Rapidshare or something like that...

The fourth chamber was easier for me.
I was also looking for downloadable archive to find out this map is only available throught Steam's workshop. Is there a specific reason for that? Because I like to keep the maps I have played and enjoyed, and also mirror them on my website if the other sites have trouble for some reason (it has happened in the past).
