Suggetions for new mechanics

(Seriously, doesn't seem like anyone understood. I just thought this out from scratch and there is no way to "control it yourself". It comes from an excursion funnel similar object that is much more intresting than your fake attempt to provoke this thread).
@Stimichportals: Yeah, fans work too on this.

What I meant was that it sounds like an element that Aperture would not do. It just doesn't sound and feel something "Portal-ish".

It help me solve numerous technical problems due to its accurate rendering of physics in the real world. Such as people travelling in giant bubbles, an even better method of transportation then ballooning.

I disagree.

I disagree.

Encouragment beam - laser that doesn't burn turrets and activates targets.
I'll maybe post drawings to show how some things work.

I'll maybe post drawings to show how some things work.A few ideas inspired by typos I've seen:
Pneumatic Density Vents - make everything that goes through them much lighter.
Portable Gel - when it splatters, the panel it hit gets phys_converted.
Explosion Funnels - red, with a spawner at the beginning making invisible prop_exploding_futbols. Don't stand at the end for too long.

(This can't be washed with water like a standard cube with orange gel).

Quote from tile on January 15, 2014, 7:51 ami've seen more great ideas in this thread then anywhere else as far as new mechanics go.
keep this up and we'll have the base mechanics of portal 3 ready to go.Habzs wrote:What I meant was that it sounds like an element that Aperture would not do. the substance is mixed in the manufacturing wing and then put into small paint cans, which are run through the Anti gravitational sphere dispenser, where they are each un-packed and immediately disposed of. NOW it's aperture styled.EDIT: ...which could create a new branch-off mechanic where the player can use lasers to open the cans in BTS, which will create a bubble wherever the can was.
