About all the files - where do you put them all. I know where the bsp file goes but I also put all the other files in there as well. When I play it there are lots of flourescent pink squares, aren't those just fizzlers?

No! You should put the folders "maps" and "materials" in C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonportal 2. Don't pick their contenst, just move the whole folders there.

Only minor gripe:

the fling exercise failed by a few centimeters most of the times I tried. It requires quite a precise positioning of the portal on the floor and jumping into that portal rather than walking into it.
