Another thing about the BTS area is that while it does look impressive, all the geometry is simply floating in space, which is a little weird. Seeing as there's plenty of time left before the competition, I would recommend creating a support system of girders and the like to give it more of an Aperture feel.

I was actually just planning to do that, got a few fixes and tweaks to make, the reason I didn't is cause the map is completely unoptimised, so if I can fix that I will feel better about adding more stuff. Should hopefully have an update soon.

Sorry to double post, just updated the map with some minor changes, I spent 4 hours trying to fix the 2nd room, every time I fixed something you could trap yourself a different way >_< Think I have fixed most of it but there is one known way to trap yourself by emancipating the laser cube then by closing or moving your portal :(

If you were sorry beforehand you could have edited your previous post.

This is my playthrough of this map. In order to not influence the opinion of anyone, I won't say what I think about this map yet. Have fun watching the video and get your own opinion about the map for now :)

That was definitely very interesting to watch and sorta see your thought process, this is the first time ive seen my map played blind, so cool to see what you went for first, though you did pretty much what I expected you to do xD
You did make things difficult for yourself edging yourself across the light bridge whilst redirecting the laser over it

Also as for the button that a lot of people think is broke in the 2nd room, I noticed you get a little confused at it not working, I have a trigger multiple that locks the button if you have a physics object to prevent you from doing what you tried to do and skipping the end of the puzzle by just respawning the normal cube. If you trapped both cubes on the other side of the goo you could use it to respawn one, was the best fix I could think of to not trap players and not allow the puzzle to be skipped.

Overall the map was enjoyable, a little too easy. Heres my walkthrough: (Sorry I wanted to make a blindrun for you but because I was stuck and raged quit in my first run, I didn't. So I made a walkthrough video for you. ^^v)

Below is my feedback:

Spoiler
-In the second test chamber, theres a switch that cannot be pressed beside the cube button on the right. I guess that drops a new cube from the dropper? Anyway, a switch can't be locked for no reason, if you want it to be spoilt, you should sparks to it.
-Also in the second test chamber, the indicator lights linking the cube buttons to the exit door in unclear. Link it to the exit door instead of the floor.

Other than that, the map was enjoyable. I think this map deserves a 4/5. ^^ I hope you will make more maps in the future! :D

Thanks for the feedback, if it was too easy how did you get stuck and rage quit, was there a problem with the map or was it just the bad placement of the indicator panels?

I think I should add an env_instructor_hint to the button, someone said they trapped themselves by throwing the normal cube across therefore it wont respawn so I need the button there to prevent being trapped but I don't want someone just grabbing the laser cube and then respawning a new one either so its locked unless you are trapped.

Yes, I got stuck. Thats why I raged quit. And when I realised what I need to do, I felt so stupid. :/
Also, I noticed that you can enter the room behind the malfunctioning door in the first chamber. You can shoot a portal inside and then proceed to the second chamber and go through the orange portal. xP
