[SP] Oblivious Paranoia (Portal 2)
Quote from red_ozone on February 11, 2012, 6:05 pmThanks for the feedback, everyone!
When I get more time to fix things, from what I've learned I have to
1. Make the ending panel / entire ending a bit more obvious. Maybe slower, too.
2. fix a bug (I assume with the trigger) that causes a door to close prematurely
3. Make the level where the roof collapses slightly easier to understand. Maybe a more obvious light or an arrow on the wall will do?
4. Perhaps make the ending vent open sooner with a louder sound
5. Fix a lighting bug of some sort
6. Make some things look prettier
7. Make the ending slightly more satisfying
Thanks for playing, everyone! I'll fix it when I fix it!

Quote from tile on February 15, 2012, 1:55 pmhere's a way to make the end satisfying enough. leave it as-is, but then when the player goes back into the corridor with the spikes, they go down a long path behind them and to the real, more satisfying ending.

Did you just re-release older maps?If you've browsed the WIP maps section, you may have found an early version of this campaign. However, if you have not browsed the WIPs - there's a small possibility these maps were stolen and re-used. With any luck, that hasn't happened. Anyway, thanks for playing!

Quote from KennKong on February 18, 2012, 2:15 amI have mixed feelings about these maps. On the one hand, I like a few of the elements like the time travel. On the other hand, it says I've escaped from Aperture, but I never felt like I was there in the first place.
The room with the three welded-down turrets was just annoying, especially the hopping onto tiny squares bit.
In principle, I'm in favor of doing your own thing. But expecting other people to enjoy doing your thing is unrealistic. Just 3/5 for me.

Quote from CamBen on February 18, 2012, 12:53 pmthis map was really good, especially the time travel. I was actually making a time travel map myself, based off when you killed glados. it uses a spinning elevator for the time machine, but i really like your method.
the map could possibly use more ambient sounds or music, and the welded turrets room was really annoying, but I actually like the map a lot. also, I thought it said it had custom textures. I didn't see any.
