The Corrupted - 1st place winner of the ThinkingWithPortals.com mapping contest 2012 !!

Very nice map in the decayed style. The puzzles were more easy than medium. In ch 3 the turrets were present but were no obstacle - not pointed at player. Nice corridors between chambers.. thanks for creating...

It's been a while since a quality Decay map was released: but nostalgic welcome apart, stellar job! Image One really gets the impression of how much ground was covered from your previous efforts. Moody, more destruction & less in your face; catchy, streamlines a sequence of easy puzzles for a speedy progression; overall accessible and varied. In the end, might not be yet on the level of juggernauts such as Patent Pending (same "colorful decay") but it's definitely getting there.

To be really nitpicking, certain parts seemed under the rest: in particular, the funnel part in CH2 seemed bland and underused - I kept thinking some big backtrack through the area was incoming, but nope. And the puzzle structure mentioned above does indeed make it a fun run through, but at cost of complexity and difficulty.

the hills are alive... with the sound of music

Well done map, looks great! The puzzles were fairly easy, which is fine with me, although it was way too easy to get rid of the turrets so I might make that part harder.

I didn't bother loading the materials files, and it didn't affect the gameplay much, except that a couple of walls looked really weird (my daughter thought it was cool :) ).

My daughter managed to get stuck between sections 1 and 2. She made a portal in the wall just before going into section 2. Then she made a portal at the end of the tractor beam and went through it and got dumped back behind the door, which wouldn't open again.

I liked the map. Wasn't that hard except the end had me tilting :)

This is a very nice map, well done. It had me thinking quite a bit. As mentioned above, you may want to make a harder way to get rid of the turrets as all you have to do is pick it up, shoot both portals to get rid of both of them.

I have found a slight bug in which the cube got stuck in mid air. It was just the cube, and not the player being able to do that.

This map is one of the nicest I have played in quite a while. Dark and atmospheric, with brilliantly chosen music and a nice succession of puzzles that were easy, but in the good way. I had one issue - in the first room, I kept falling in the goo because the wreckage pile blocked my light bridge. It took me a few tries to work out why that was happening.

Despite my pitiful excuse for gaming, I certainly enjoyed this map, and I am looking forward greatly to your next release.

'I'm just going to attempt a manual override on this wall...'

In the last room I was

Spoiler
able to fling the cube up to the button room after setting up the lazers to remove the fizzler. I'm sure that wasn't the intended solution, but I thought I'd mention it.

I did the same thing as the guy above. I tried for a little while but could find no other solution. The other two rooms were much easier. I think maybe a time limit should've been added after you hit the button that removes the fizzler in the first room, which would've made things a little more interesting. In fact, I thought that was the whole reasoning behind the circle window, so you could beat some time limit.

Very good map. I did find a different solution to the last room from the two individuals above me. Again, great map.
