I left room 2 and tried to portal in through the hole - and it would not accept a Portal anymore. And your response is that the "walls rotated" ?? I don't get it.
But I just could do nothing in Room 2 - could not use th Laser for anything, could not kill the turrets, could not walk out throught the light bridge through the small opening above the fizzler. Then in the other rooms - no way to get across the acid. It is the most frustrating thing.
After 2 hours - then to read people saying the Laser in room 2 does NOTHING - I am steamed.

Quote from GreyHound on July 18, 2011, 10:43 amI've no idea how to solve the 3dots room. I can't get any blue gel on the side where the button is nor is the some place to place a funnel that would pull me back.
I tried all kind of ways to give the gel enought momentum and then shoot it out of the top of the wall that's quarded by bars. Tried all button combinations to see if those bars somehow disappear.
What's the trick?

So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:P3bFTci-HC8

Quote from KennKong on November 25, 2011, 3:17 pmIt didn't register with me that gel coming out of a funnel 10' above a floor would have more momentum than gel falling from about 25`, but that's the physics of the game. Once I grasped that reality, getting through the map wasn't hard. I liked that you used simple elements in somewhat offbeat ways, and that the different pieces of the puzzle were spread around the map for a somewhat non-linear solution.
The Portal-style metal walls looked out of place in a Portal 2 map, but I don't mind because I'd rather see the metal walls than plain black ones.
I like using blue gel, but sometimes it screws you up by bouncing you places you didn't want to go. There was a little of that here, but it wasn't bad.
Overall, a simple yet effective design, decent puzzle and slightly challenging maneuvers combine to merit a 4/5 from me.
