LoneWolf, I think you should introduce some portal_placements, not only to make easier the intended solutions, but this time to prevent unintended ones!

If you decide to remove that angled cube on button solution, this is what I meant:

You can activate it only when the cube starts pressing the button and deactivate it on unpressing...

Ok I did your fix josepezdj, actually double usefulness cause it also forces the cube to sit straight so makes it easier to align the laser. Well at least I think I have fixed it... till you or RogerL manage to break my map again :lol:

Ahhh, don't take it so hard. Look what the speedrunners have done to Valve's original maps. Absolute carnage. The puzzle in the first room is much improved; I look forward to seeing more. Just keep in mind: puzzle first, style second. Good luck!

I did here is an ugly WIP picture, the map is fully functional bar the changes I made to the puzzle after release so I could have turned this in to any style except the old aperture. I did want to try out the overgrown/destroyed aesthetic though considering I've tried clean and bts.

Enjoyed this map a lot. The detailing was great and I actually found the first room harder than the second room. I also spent some time, probably too much, trying to get to that companion cube in the first room.....what a tease!

first of all a very beautiful and detailed chamber. initial chamber is easy but im stuck on the second part :(. will keep trying, but very satisfying so far

gives me inspiration to make a destroyed map :D

Thank you :p What about the other companion cube xD And sorry about that they aren't even real cubes, so even if you could reach them you couldn't pick it up :p

Thanks, yea some people find the 2nd room very tricky, I did post the solution in the comments somewhere xD
