Quote from LoneWolf2056 on January 9, 2013, 9:53 pmYea originally you would have beat the map then by getting the 3 cubes which I imagine was pretty easy, all I did was make it so one fizzler doesn't turn off permanently and it makes it more interesting :p

Quote from RogerL on January 10, 2013, 3:23 pmI thought this was your best map so far. The puzzles were more challenging and varied. It took me awhile to find how to complete it once I got all three cubes. The third room I'm pretty sure I completed it in an unintended manner, because I never used the lightbridge in that room. You might want to move the cube dropper button further from the funnel, 'cause you can jump on top of it and then get into the funnel. Great job!

, the light bridge and even the cube button that turns off the fizzler are just for handiness sake so its easier to see where the cube lands in the middle otherwise you kinda have to guess. So will probably keep it in for some varied solutions for once.

Quote from LoneWolf2056 on January 10, 2013, 5:13 pmThanks, glad you like it marKiu, like i said the entire last section where you hunt for a way to get an excursion funnel was an accident because when playtesting I forgot to permanently disable a fizzler so decided id try and still solve it anyway, glad I did cause just getting the 3 cubes was far too easy, hooray for mapping mistakes

Also out of interest in the first room I tried a little psychological trick, wanna know who fell for it
The cube in the first room originally autospawned when you entered so your attention is drawn to it fizzling so you go the left and its easy to solve the puzzle by putting the cube on that button, but by making you head to the right and activate it yourself, when you see it you will try to protect the cube by standing on the button and let it pass through the fizzler which gets you nowhere xD
Quote from josepezdj on January 12, 2013, 6:26 amMy God, LoneWolf! This is incredible!
Again you have excelled yourself with the new part of the series! Again this is my favourite
I spent quite a lot of time getting the first cube dude, I think I suffered some kind of mental block (haha... looks like that psychological trick you used had a certain effect in me indeed! LOL, I am a pychologist!)
I think I did not completely intended though since I didn't use some stuff at dot 3.
I spent a whole evening in there trying to get the funnel from there but nothing. I tried to use the bridge in dot 2 to enter dot 3 and I even grabbed the reflector cube with me to see if I could respawn the clean regular cube of dot 3 and get back through the bridge to change the cubes but I couldnd't. The bridge inside dot 3 didn't help at any time either.
I hope you'll like my solution though!

Quote from PCdoc on January 12, 2013, 5:47 pmIt took me quite a while to figure out that I could NOT get all 3 cubes and then simply shoot a portal into the floor to beam up the 3rd cube to the ceiling.
I then realized I had to sort of start over again but use different means to the end.
Very cool. In fact - although it seemed hard, it was very smoothly done once I had finished and it all fit together so well.Like a well-made jigsaw puzzle.
No not "that JigSaw" - I retained all my body parts and did not have a locked on metal helmet with pneumatic skull-crushing piston.
