I had the time last night to play for 1 hour only. I've collected the cube and passed through the first door to the chamber where the funnel is located; then I've managed to get the cube from first chamber to this funnel-chamber.
I'm now at the funnel room WITH the cube and I'm trying to pass the laser-field. I've got an idea I'll try this evening and see if I can complete the map and upload a playthrough...

Quote from Senf on January 11, 2012, 12:18 pmI played this map yesterday and my head still aches. :p
I got past the first chamber and I'm currently in the room with the lasers and the towers. I think I know what to do there (the funnel is still active and I got a cube), but I haven't figured out how to get back to paint the cube. But I'll give it another try this evening.
Great map so far. I hope, I won't get too frustrated.

Quote from josepezdj on January 11, 2012, 8:04 pmIt's a REAL pleassure to let you all know that I've just SOLVED IT!!!
The video is rendering and it will be ready within a few hours!
Chander, I really think this could be the best of your cards (as you like to say...). After having the pleassure of being the first one in solving some of your puzzles and post the solution, I would like you to know that this one is by far the one that I consider the most risky, creative and complex of them all.
I really mean it.
I have spent only 2 "moments" in solving it though: a first approach last night, and tonight. And I have REAAAAAAALLLY enjoyed much to spend all my efforts and neurons beating such an awesome puzzle. I'm so excited and I wanted to share this with you and the forum. Total playing time around 5 hours, but I won't upload a blind playthrough because I'm interested in post the solution ASAP. Anyway, it's around 35 min. video.
I have enjoyed much realising each of the tricky ways you wanted us to discover to get through to the end.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAPPING, MAN

EDIT: I would like to mention how I really loved the mood or atmosphere of this map. With map n?5 I already discovered Chander's special taste for rusty textures, sober look, partially clean areas, etc. But I think with this one he has improved much and define finner his style. I LOVED the "indicator lights" (in quotation marks because at some parts they are NOT even lights!) because I think they are so MINIMALISTIK. All these details, altogether with his good mapping skills, makes his maps, not simply puzzles, but also an attention to details that we really appreciate.
Looking forwarder to see the next challenge!

Chander please, tell me how near of the intended solution I was (even though I really think there are not many ways in this puzzle). Thanks!
EDIT: the only part I haven't edited is the latest chamber and it took me around 20 min. to
get the damn blue-painted cube through the towers until its final position!
Quote from Xtreger on January 12, 2012, 8:59 amExcellent map... and kudos to josepezdj for being able to figure it out.
I could only reach the tower room with the cube and with one portal admitting the tractor beam, but failed to get a painted cube there...
Then I stopped trying after an hour of playthrough, once the solution was put up
Looking forward to more...
