How to get motivated:

-Sign out of friends (because chat messages are annoying)
-Get something to drink (coffee, energy drink, etc)
-Play music
-Map

What I also do is watch old beta clips of Portal and Left 4 Dead. How that motivates me, I have no idea.

I think in terms of boolean variables. Generally, it makes things easier.

I also hear music while mapping. But no Portal soundtrack, only a youtube music list I craeted.
