Well, I think you did it perfect with that grate IF the intended solution is to fling like I did to reach the funnel (

[spoiler]Just that one portal from 0:30 bothered me, because then the funnel wouldn't need to be next to the wall and that was supposed to be a significant detail for the solution. Don't assume that you have to keep anything exactly as it is on my map. Do as you please to achieve what you have in mind.
