Well, didn't use debugging (yet) but I also think that the problem could be the logic_auto. I think what I have to achieve is to make the monster_box "BecomeBox" after changing its model to the regular cube one. I don't think it's difficult, but judging by the way Valve built this twisted item_dropper instance, I may encounter some difficulties though.
