Goodnight, Sweet Prince

Well, this demonstrates what kind of person Steve Jobs was: "She briefly raised their daughter on welfare when Jobs denied paternity by claiming he was sterile; he later acknowledged Lisa as his daughter."

He did not love his own child.

Blanking this post because I'm not awesome enough

The only thing Steve Jobs ever did of value was to help prop up Pixar.

So you're saying that the products and utilities he envisioned like the iPhone and iTunes, etc. were worthless Irate Pirate?

Wow why do people fucking hardcore one "brand" of computer. Yes, BRAND, they are both computers, both with Intel Chips and cheap nasty boards from china. I own one of each and they both pretty much do the same shit so I dont know what the big deal is about.

Also thomars is a GIANT douche. My personal douchbaggery pails in insignificance to him.

"Oh, in case you got covered in that repulsion gel, here's some advice the lab boys gave me: DO NOT get covered in the repulsion gel."

Thomars, do you really have to put a reply after literally every second post in this thread? You're really not saying anything necessary or that you haven't already said before.

iWork, I don't know, it seems like a different brand of douchebaggery to what you exhibit. You make very deliberate trolling attempts or at least post knowing and expecting people will react negatively, whereas thomars.dm seems to just be ignorant of general forum etiquette.

I am not denying that Steve Jobs was a genius in product design, but he completely failed in his personal life.

Never met his father, even though his biological father did want to meet him.

Got his high school girlfriend pregnant, then deny paternity.

Lost contact with his adopted parents too later in life.

Someone's personal life is nobody's business. Unless they're criminals, in which case it would be. Nobody's a saint. I feel that this topic is getting a little out of hand.

Crazy is as crazy does.

Disregarding the fact that Apple products are overpriced and break constantly, Steve Jobs himself had very little personal input into any of these products. The only thing that Apple products even did differently from anyone else was have a minimalistic aesthetic and layout so even a mentally handicapped person could use them.
