Ehh, I asked does the player pass out if you're wandering around without her for too long, like in the video. Not can you go without her ...

Uhm..

This thread turned into a massive troll. I don't know why...

But there will most likely be a time limit on the time that you're in this state. We will have to see how it handles in play tests.

Hey Doug, seriously, I think this is awesome :thumbup: Not only I think it's a very creative idea to manipulate the player's emotions by altering the view and creating such disorientation visually and auditorially, but I also think it's awesome to make the effect appear or intensify as the player gets further from the WCC :thumbup:

Damn, I have been trying to find a way how to force the player to keep his companion cube but this is such a good idea!

Well, the best way will always be the puzzles ;) ...that is the key of the wcc maps: you need to go using the cube in several puzzles to get through the map until the very end of it.
