Destroy PeTI Entities Limit
Quote from siuking666 on August 14, 2012, 11:03 pmHey dudes, I found a way to break the entity limit in PeTI
I have already put this in the Steam Discussion before, and I am posting here again for people who need it. (I know you got Hammer, but PeTI is user-friendly in some ways)Copyright, And the creator is NOT me

Quote from CarolHaynes on August 31, 2012, 12:46 pmNote this does work - even after the recent updates to add coop to PeTI but ...
if you go too mad then maps compile apparently successfully and publish apparently successfully but won't play.
The moral is you can extend the entity limit so far but you can't tell when you have passed the ultimate limit!
Bit of a bummer really.

Quote from Lpfreaky90 on August 31, 2012, 1:33 pmpro tip: that limit is there for a reason
To prevent problems the limit is a bit lower then where the problems start to occur. If you insist on making bigger map (bigger isn't always better!) you should seriously think about using hammer. Making the same thing in hammer is often about 80% less entities. Which means you can make the map 5 times the size of the pti version! the incredible amount of flexibility that the PTI offers just requires a lot of entities

If you use Sicklebrick's Fudgepacker, it passes an entity limit of 2,048 to vbsp (the engine's hard limit), which gives you more freedom than the PETI editor without breaking the game so it will be possible to safely make larger PETI maps without publishing a broken map to the workshop

However in my opinion the best recourse is to export the map once it's completed and touch it up in Hammer if you have the know-how. The PETI editor is particularly greedy with deadly goo
