XBOX360: Challenge Mode, can't save best run.....
The challenge mode is great, but there's just one thing I have a problem with....
There is no save feature. I'm NOT talking about the lack of quicksave within maps that forces you to get the whole map right in one go; I'm talking about the fact that whenever I finish a map in challenge mode, there is no way to save my score/record that comes up on the leaderboard at the end of the map. Therefore, whenever I go to check my best times/ least portals on the leaderboards later, it is not there.
Is there something that I am missing? I apologise if this seems like an idiotic question, but I honestly can not see any way to save my records for later viewing on the leaderboards.
So, am I just blind, or did Valve leave it out??? Thanks in advance for any help.
It should save automatically, but you need to be online. Can you see the leaderbord at all? That graph which shows how many times each best time and portal count has been achieved by others.
If not then it's probably the internet connection.
I can see the graph leaderboard, and my internet connection is fine (1.37GB in 20mins, its definitely fine). It just wont save my times/portals, and i can't look at them in the main menu because its not on the graph...
Hmm, I'm afraid I don't know why this happens then.
But the leaderbors are hacked already, so it's rather pointless anyway. If that makes it any better ^^
I'm getting the same. I'm logged in to xbox live but my data isn't saving. I'm not bothered about seeing how I'm doing against anyone else but it would be nice to see if I can beat myself.
I think I figured it out.... go to the first level in a chapter in challenge mode, and play it twice (once you get to the end the first time, hit X to retry the level) , then you can continue on, but once you go past the last level in that chapter, you have to exit to the main menu, and repeat this process with the next chapter.
That seems to be the only way to get it to work, I hope they patch it soon.
