[WIP] [WIP] [WIP] Boss fight (VERY TEMPERMENTAL)

Ive been playing about over the weekend after looking at the angry tests boss fight. and thinking YES i will create a series just like that with voices etc etc...

Well. i wanted to put this boss fight i have created into circulation (its same sort of concept as the angry tests fight however ive put my own twist on it..)

THIS IS FAR FAR FROM finished. The voice acting isnt there at the moment. all that is "programmed" in is the music (which sometimes goes out of sync)

Give feedback please! it will be appreciated in the long run :)

btw its called boss lasergrid because i was working on the lasergrid part of the fight, and decided to finish of the rest of the features instead and couldnt be bothered to rename my initial name concepts :p lol

in addition, you have to walk to the exit before the event starts. And a explosion will happen first off but thats because i havent got around to fixing a glitch in my logic system yet... (i didnt know how to do boss feature.. so ive just done all logic to do this boss fight.)

Not bad so far, but you may want to know about some issues:

1. You can get stuck. That's always a no-go, so you may want to fix that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itSinfgBJyU
2. After beating the boss, he falls into the field, but you can't feel his physics which is kinda weird: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cDiDjjNEq0

4. I didn't ever use the red gel, so I guess you had some different plans for the boss fight. Maybe dodging the laserwall like this isn't intended? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_Ceanuj52E
5. In the second phase (when the laserwall comes for the first time) - if you use quicksave and quickload, there will be no more music. However I didn't have this issue with quicksave and quickload before the wall started moving: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH0NEFosQrU

As always my little "bug videos" aren't High Quality in order to upload them fast to give fast feedback.

because it is very familiar :p lol, i used the basic fight mechanics you had and made it myself. took inspiration. but just made a more refined room :/

im still not overal happy with this currently due to issues (which you have raised, and my friend raised infront of my own eyes dj)

mainly the issues are most of the logic which sets each event off after the other revolves around you using the paint to jump to the platform.. but then again.. there is the issue of not having to use anything at all by just dodging the laser field... lol.................. *cry*

However, what you have shown me is exactly what i wanted to see ^^ so i can refine and retune the boss fight.. hopefully make it better. and more stable. Might look into the music issue (if i can figure that out.)

Looking into doing other things. and possibly just making the whole fight more epic :p lol... doubt it tho ^^ most prob will be scraped in the end. This is just me playing about!
