[WIP] [WIP] Return To Aperture [Trailer Concept Part]

WIP Map of my new series called "Return to Aperture".
Just one of many parts. I don't want to give much information right now, but I think it's pretty self-explanatory.

What's new in Version 1.02-WIP:
[FIXED] Improved overall performance by improving the map architecture and removing unneeded textures
[FIXED] Massive Bug an the rear part of Section 2
[FIXED] One of two "falling of the level"-situations (couldn't recreate the second one yet)
[FIXED] Added collision to a framework model in the section transition
[CHANGED] Improved Gel dispenser in section 2

I fell out of the map in two places. In the first room that changes levels you can portal yourself below the floor and fall out of the map. Also, at the end of the speed gel area you can walk right through a closed door and fall out again.

and i am getting alot of lag at the speed gel area, but keep at it, i can see this being a better map. (Pm me on steam if you would like some help)

There's a lot of good things about the map and there are also a lot of bad things about the map:

+ The map looks pretty nice!
+ The white gel was used in a nice way where the only exploitable way would've been more work.
- The map is in a huge box. This caused major lag for me; specially with all the moving parts in your level. If you want nice detailed stuff outside your map either make separate area for it or close them off with a skybox.
- The puzzles weren't original. I've seen the gel puzzle already: [sp] E3_propulsiongel instead of copying existing puzzles why not create your own puzzles? :D
- You could fall of the level
- The room with the cube dispenser is really really weird; I suggest making a wall and making the back side white so you can't skip the puzzle.
- I couldn't get the orange gel on the second ramp.

All in all it's an ok map but there's a lot of improvements that need to be made in order to let it really be a good map.

Guys, thanks for your reviews! I'm trying my best to get this as good as possible!

First of all, I created the speed gel section on my very own. I created the clean version first and then this abandoned version.
Next, the massive lag in section 2 can be temporarily fixed by entering the console command "stopsound". I'll look into that today.
The gel settings are pretty difficult, maybe one of you could help me with this.
And "falling off the level" is completely new for me, never noticed that before. But it's still WIP, I don't know how, but it will be fixed.

The dowload file is the same as the original. You need to change the name when you edit the file or it won't work. Add 1.02 to the name of the download file. The second spot where I fell out of the map was where the laser cube dropper is. You can walk right through the door inside that area.
