ya i have the cube set to a template and shift copied it so 2 would drop with the push of the button but i can't figure out how to make the previous cube fizzle if the button gets pressed 2 or more times...any help would be appreciated.

Easy, short map with no peculiarities of sort. Listen to the comments about the dispensers not destroying the previous cube, but if you want my advice: remove the second cube, one is enough to beat the level - and makes it a bit longer.
