Wheatley lines
Quote from Dafflewoctor on July 13, 2013, 11:14 amIn my Wheatley chamber I have a logic_choreographed_scene that is triggered when I enter. I set the Scene File to:
scenesvowheatleybw_sp_a4_tb_wall_button_intro08.vcd
When I enter the room, it will not play, and when I open the console it says this:
Scene 'scenesvowheatleybw_sp_a4_tb_wall_button_intro08.vcd' missing!
As a side question, how do I get the monitor to play animations besides leaving, entering, and zooming? Or do they play automatically with the choreographed scene?

Quote from Ultiman9711 on July 13, 2013, 1:23 pmHave you made sure that the Wheatley entity is named @sphere, and that the "Target1" keyvalue in the logic_choreographed_scene is set to @sphere?
The animations should play automatically on Wheatley at least, assuming you used a Wheatley line made for the "Boss" Wheatley model. As for the actual screen, it needs to be a prop_dynamic that has animation triggered however you want.

And I am using a Wheatley-in-GLaDOS-body line.

Quote from Ultiman9711 on July 13, 2013, 2:28 pmOkay, so you're using the instance. In that case, make the instance have no name. If that still doesn't work, collapse the instance and try renaming the actual Wheatley model @sphere.

I'll upload the map if you want...
(It's a little embarassing, I haven't done any optimization, lighting, or detailing work at all, it's just the puzzle, music, and Wheatley.)
Edit: Deleted the attachment. Just to be safe...

Quote from Ultiman9711 on July 13, 2013, 3:49 pmI found your problem: you were using a voice line that the path literally does not exist!
Here's the correct .vcd: scenesnpcsphere03bw_sp_a4_tb_wall_button_intro08.vcd
Hope this helps!

I found my other problem- I was also using Raw, and I guess all of their dialogue lines don't work, because I started using Scenes and they worked great, animations and everything.
Thanks again!
