Testing other's work in progress
Quote from Konke on April 17, 2014, 2:06 pmI don't know if there's a thread for this (non that I've found anyway) but I am interesting in testing the community's yet unfinnished work. I'd give constructive criticism and tips, as much as I can in any case. If you're interested, let me know and I'll be happy to help!

Quote from Lpfreaky90 on April 17, 2014, 4:04 pmThere's obviously always this section: downloads.php?cat=11 where you can help people who've uploaded their wip versions
Do you have any links to things where you gave your criticism? would be good to see

Quote from Konke on April 17, 2014, 4:58 pmNo specific link, I just give constructive criticism when people ask for it or when I feel it's ok. Some people don't want to hear it and I'll respect that.
I am a perfectionist and I'll find a flaw in mostly every map I play, of different degreas. I also am very interested in photography and specificly lighting, and that can really be an asset in mapping. "Thanks" to my perfectionist personality I'm never going to finnish my current map. I hope that I someday will though.
Thanks for the link! I guess that if you post a map in the WIP section, then you're ok with constructive criticism. Oh, and how about copyright or map theft? Is this common? How do you protect your map and your ideas so that noone else will get to steal it and get credit for it?

As far as I know it's never happened on twp that someone stole someone elses map. If we find out that happens we will immediately take down the copy and ban the person. On the steam workshop you can also report maps for copyright infringement.
