Quote from RadicalPi on December 25, 2011, 6:21 pmA very nice map! Excellent voice acting
One bug I did find though. I was able to skip activating the crushers by using the faith plate. If you jump down to the floor around the plate, then walk onto the plate and continue holding forward as you fly, you'll land on top of the crushers and be able to walk directly to the cube. Perhaps you could remove the floor around the plate?
EDIT: Actually, you can still do it if you jump straight down onto the plate with almost no forward motion at the beginning

Quote from DannySwish on December 26, 2011, 3:40 amOne week?! I envy your awesomness. I loved it! Though that last part had me stuck and I couldn't figure out how to
position the laser to hit that cube in the ice,
so I just noclipped through the end of the door
btw that is probably the best GLaDOS impression I've heard to date!

Quote from soad667 on December 26, 2011, 7:33 amWow,
turrets with santa hats
is something i always expected from Valve to do around the holidays. Kinda easy, but still amazing work with all the <Holiday Name Here> stuff around. Btw, i had no problems with the last part. Mentioning it, because i saw above people had problems with it.
Place one portal at the laser's level, the other at the frozen cube's level (not many places to throw portals at) and use the cube you get from the dispenser to hit the frozen cube with an angle.
Wow,
Quote from El Farmerino on December 26, 2011, 12:57 pmNice map! Did it all in about 10 minutes, but was a great fun map. I too had no real problem with the last part; thought it was a really satisfying little puzzle, but not too difficult. Here's a screenshot to go with soad667's explanation for anyone who really is stuck (spoiler, obviously):

That is just Source hatting the map because it has a lot of displacements (Or maybe improper?) along with Portals. I'm sure if you fire Portals in something like INFRA, you'll get the artifacts as well.

The more you give, the less appreciated it will be received.
Quote from PCdoc on December 26, 2011, 9:43 pmI think it's a new fashion statement . . that was GREAT - LOL ! !
SantaTurret.jpgAs far as the map - when I saw it was over 60 MB I was very excited, thinking it was a long, difficult set of puzzles. It was actually kinda short, which all the graphics sort of clued me in on. But I would love to see something like this with a full set of rooms and tricky puzzles. It's just such a wonderful place to be that you don't wanna leave. I was disappointed when it ended. Which means it was really great. Ice and snow are not easy to work with - fantastic work.
