Quote from grayarea on June 19, 2012, 5:08 amSo, it might be a brilliant map but I've stopped after about 5 minutes because I think it's too dark and I'm not a fan of the hidden trigger_multiple opening wall hatches. If it's WIP, then maybe upload it to that category? Cheers

Quote from sicklebrick on June 19, 2012, 6:59 amLittle bit torn on this one. It's actually a half decent puzzle, but the lighting and triggers are kindof a pain in the ass. I finished it, but I needed to make the triggers visible, and turn on the flashlight :
A floor button mounted on the wall, opening the panel on a timer would be nice for the faith plate area, and for the other area, a floor button would do the trick. Anyhoo, cheers for the map ^^

Quote from Logic on June 19, 2012, 7:24 amFunny how I can't even solve the first part where you go up the pressure plates to press a button. I hit my head on the sealing every single time! How does this not get noticed during playtest!?

Quote from Shakky on June 19, 2012, 8:38 am1. Not "very difficult". Not even hard in my opinion. Apart from the turret jump in the faithplate room if that is actually intended.
2.First faithplate doesn't fling you properly most of the time and second one does never. Second one is understandable if you wanted a turret jump there.
3.Invisible triggers that open hatches required for puzzles are stupid. They don't make the puzzle hard.
4.Panel where you bring the sphere to first area should be triggered earlier in my opinion because it destroys your sphere if you are not careful.
5.I was seriously dissapointed by this next part. I thought you might have some kind of crazy laser angle to get the second redirection cube but then I realised what the other invisible trigger was for. Also pointing a laser into cube behind a wall is annoying and took trial and error.
6.I thought the hard part of the puzzle might be getting to the exit while the laser points at the roof but the fizzler turned off and I could just walk.
7. Companion cube sign looks pixelated because it has been stretched so big.I personally weren't bothered by the overall dark feel of the map. I could see almost everything fine on my led screen. Only thing that caused problems was realising what was in the corridor that triggered second redirection cube.
To sum up. Not hard at all puzzle with a lot of little things that still need fixing.
