[SP] The notYETnamed Map

This is my entry in the Summer Mapping Initiative. I tried in this map to add as much visual complexity as possible. Source .vmf and all instances included. Some, like the elevator ents, are modified. Do have fun. Make sure to rate.

Messy and buggy: aside from the chaotic geometry and skinning, bugs and the "secret" (there's a

) might get you stuck for half an hour. Avoid until fixed.

Bugs: in the first room, the laser cube constantly gets fixed by some unseen force - that was annoying. In the second, it is very possible for the laser cube to get stuck in the funnel machine: needs a respawn button.

The laser cube getting fixed is part of the puzzle and is triggered by the floor button. How could the cube get stuck?, regardless will see to it. Will try to find an easier way of taking care of accessing the room, but apart from a sign I really don't have much of an idea, WAIT I got it, HINTS when you die!

The cube gets stuck when you put an entry portal on the catapult target (that one panel at the end of room) and the output on the funnel's panel. Then you can't retrieve it anymore from inside the funnel machine.

You could place a couple rattman's items in front of the secret door, or maybe crack it, or a grid nearby which shows the cube on the other side.

Well the cube bug is fixed with a vphysx clip, and I

made the secret door somewhat more suggestive (the cracks worked like magic).

First room, didn't need laser, funnel or platform. With no quick saves, I rapidly lost patience with the second room. I had to noclip just to see how to get the hidden cube. 2/5, removed from playlist.

There also seems to be some discussion over cubes getting lost.

This looks like it was a serious attempt at a good test but the minor details are what killed it. Hopefully they can be fixed.
