If you just dump the contents of the sp00k folder in the zip into ~SteamSteamAppscommonportal 2portal2
then you should be all set. When it says that the folder already exists and asks you if you want to merge the folder just say yes.

I decided to do a least portals run for the fun of it. I got it down to [spoiler]5[/spoiler] portals.

I am the master of the bad bounce, so the blue gel gave me fits the first time through, mostly because I slathered it in all sorts of places where it was more of a hindrance. Please compile your custom content into the .bsp, search the wiki for bspzip for how. Or pack the files into a .vpk, as I did, then play the map in a mod. See my signature for an easy way to do that.
