Quote from Phitt on May 13, 2011, 1:45 pmVery nice ideas on the first map. Easy, but
the laser part with Wheatley
was funny. Second map was good as well, but for some reason didn't load after the first one (screen went black and I could hear my Portal gun/jumping sounds, but no new level loaded). Had to load it manually.

Quote from Lukavian on May 13, 2011, 2:45 pmThe maps flow together (now, at least). I admire the cinematic at the beginning, timing on those can take some work (not sure how Hammer works on timing things like that, but regardless). While it's a little on the boring side now and then from the player's perspective, mostly because you've heard/seen similar things in the main game.
The first actual puzzle is good, again reminiscent of some main-game puzzles, but well done.
The second room is good. You may want to
add a line in the redirection cube delivery tube that doesn't allow more than one
, but that's just me.
The "SPAAAAAACE" button was an odd, non sequitur touch, but I only felt stupid when I realized that I hadn't pushed one of the room's buttons yet.
Good start. Look forward to seeing what else you make.

Quote from KennKong on September 6, 2011, 9:16 pmI was frustrated at first, but finally enjoyed finishing this map.
Bug: In the first room, you can jump up on the desk, then out the hole Wheatley came in, leaving you outside the map.
The sequencing in the first room isn't clear. I stumbled my way through it, but really don't know how.
While the puzzles were conceptually easy, I had a hard time executing them because my timing stinks. Not your fault, of course, but it detracted from the experience having to try one simple move over and over again just to get it right.
I liked it well enough overall to give it a 4/5, even with the confusing bits and the bug.
