[SP] One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

My first map, a bit of a struggle to try and make it interesting without losing the will to live at the same time, hopefully I achieved it

Change the category. This is a PTI map...

Never use Logic to solve a puzzle, he's an idiot...

moderator note: this is an easy-map maker map so I moved it over to the PTI category.

Any feedback would be good

Played it. My main impressions are:

- Way too much black - You have hardly any portal surfaces at all.
- Nothing really original in how test elements are being used.

Both of these together makes the solution really obvious; I didn't have to stop and think at all.

More specific things I found were:
- If you fizzle the companion cube before you get the laser cube behind the glass you can render the chamber unsolvable.
- The third cube is unnecessary.

I made a demo anyway - I also found a way of getting the laser cube that you might not have thought of (if you don't know what to do with a .dem file, put it in your portal 2/portal 2 folder, fire up the game, open up the console and type "playdemo cuckoo", no quotation marks):

Thanks for the reply, nice to get some feedback for a change. It's beyond me how I forgot to respawn the cube Image

I'd only put enough portal surfaces because I wasn't sure if it was obvious enough, it was to me because I was doing it.

I've put the demo in

is this correct? Not sure what you mean about open console and type "xxxx"

Somewhere in your game options you should have an 'Enable Developer Console' option. Make sure this is enabled and press the ~ key (top left of your keyboard) to open the console.
