[SP] Middle Map

Page 1 of 2Next

As the name implies, this is intended to be a middle map in a map pack (eventually). For right now, just a couple of puzzles to solve. Hope you enjoy!

Map file is sp_laser_funnel_1_0

I have officially caught up with all of the SP maps (I have never played co-op and probably won't), but I'm really happy it didn't end with crap. Clever mechanics, without having to use ninja moves (my coordination sucks). My only issue was, it was too short. I look forward to the full pack.
Thank you.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but I am one, so it kinda comes off like that.

I've seen this one before, I think it was in WIP.
Still liked it though =D

Nice map. Last fling to exit was very touchy with bumping up against cube transport pipe? Tried it many times but usually landed short of portal even crouching - maybe just no coordination. Thanks for creating - look forward to the full set.

@quatrus: It sounds like you tried jumping from the platform with the button.

Spoiler
Try using the light bridge to get directly above the target. ;)

Thanks everybody for the feedback!

I'm guessing that the elevator control panel is an element for the mappack, because I couldn't find a way to get to it. I was hoping there was more to it, because I like what I saw, enough for a 4/5.

The puzzles were easy, yet not completely obvious. The looks were neat and aligned, and your custom elevator looks good, too.

Sorry KennKong, the control panel is only there for aesthetic purposes at the moment. But now that you mention it, making it so you can interact with it sounds like a good idea...I'll have to see if I can rig something up and implement it in future maps. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'd say just about the same KennKong said. Good looks, interesting and fun, but too easy and short.

4/5
