Q and A:
Q: How do I download this?
A: Press the green 'Subscribe' button with the plus sign beside it. It'll download to your Portal 2 workshop maps folder. After that, load Portal 2, go to 'Play Community Test Chambers', 'Play Single Player Chambers' and find 'Damnation'. Click it and click play.

Q: How long did you take to make this level?
A: I started to plan for this level at around mid-June 2013. I finally managed to complete it on August 27 2013, and I gave playtesters a day to playtest my map. After it came up all good, I released it on August 28 2013. So you could say I took around 2 and a half months to make this level. Also, I wanted to release this map before my summer camp, which lasted for 3 Days and 2 Nights starting from August 30 2013 to September 1 2013.

Q: How do you make this level?
A: Portal 2 Authoring Tools.

Q: How do you make those waterfalls move? And where do you get those clear water textures?
A: I watched TopHATTWaffle's tutorials on Waterfalls and added it to Portal 2. You can download the waterfall and water textures in his website, http://www.tophattwaffle.com/downloads/

Q: Etymology of the level name?
A: I named it Damnation, because one, I got hooked onto Halo: Combat Evolved during my childhood years, and I wanted to make something special for Portal 2. Two, I wanted to try making a overgrown/reconstructing map. According to Wikipedia, Damnation is the concept of everlasting divine punishment and/or disgrace, especially the punishment for sin as threatened by God. So yeah.

Name derived from Halo: Combat Evolved multiplayer level 'Damnation'. The hydro-processing center at the end of this level is based on the one in Halo: Combat Evolved.

Tell me what you guys think about this map! Good luck and have fun!

Nice little 3 chamber map set. Puzzles were about medium level and required a little thought to solve.
Only issue I had was getting trapped in chamber 2 if funneled across and then blue funnel behind the cube into the activated fizzler wall - no way to get back across....jumped into the goo....
Thanks for creating 5/5

I thought this was a nice set of puzzles. One small complaint: the last part of room 1 was a little tight for me, the cube, the laser and the fizzler all in there together. One accidental bump into the fizzler would knock either me or the cube into the fizzler.

Yes, I'm aware of the cramped space. I had the same problem too, just stick to the exit door

Great job, enjoyed the first two puzzles but the last one was phenomenal. I haven't played a puzzle that great in a long time. Really liked the idea of

mixing the two "chambers" and using the second laser instead of the first one.
Must have took me half an hour on that last one alone. The second part of the last puzzle was a bit disappointing, we've all seen the classic relay puzzle and it wasn't very interesting. Overall 5/5 for puzzle design.

For details this map was pretty good, but the blue skybox in the first test looked a little out of place...and in a transition hallway there are a bunch of strange pure white areas. Opening the console there are rows of pixel shader errors? Might want to look into that, but other than those things I liked it.

4.5/5 for the relay puzzle and strange white patches in a transition room.

Yeah I know, that works if one is not dumb like me and shoots the blue portal onto that surface leaving no way across...orange is at the funnel.

Thanks for the feedback! For the strange white patches, it was due to me using the beta pack textures instead of the normal Portal 2 ones so I apologize for that. I fixed the problem in v1.1 :)
