My new years resolution is to release my portal maps
that I've been making the past little while. For some reason I cannot figure out how you guys are making single test
maps. So I've had to include my arc_transition_list.nut to make everything work.So put arc_transition_list.nut
in your
Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2/scripts/vscripts/transitions/ folderIf you did this with one of my previous maps the transition
list is still valid and you don't have to do it again.-or- if you don't feel like putting vscripts in there, noclip forward after spawning,
you should find the elevator pretty quickly.after doing/not doing all that don't forget to put
arc_reznor.bsp into
Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2/mapsThen load up portal2 open up the console, and type
map arc_reznor
and you should be good to go.This is my second release and I have a insatiable hunger for feedback, good or bad.
Happy testing!

liked the map, good difficulty, <3 worldportals <3. Good puzzle, but the textures were a bit dull.
4/5: great!

Quote from KennKong on January 13, 2012, 4:51 pmInteresting use of world portals to build momentum. I was very surprised when I ended up at the first door! 4/5 from me.
I didn't use the elevating platform in the first puzzle, although I could see how it could be used, it wasn't necessary.
I fell in the drink in the first room, didn't die, and was stuck.
FYI, you can bundle the transition file in with the .bsp file, see here:

Quote from OnePortalizedGal on January 14, 2012, 11:46 pmI liked this map alot. The puzzles were interesting with some twists. It was a bit dull on the looks - but that didn't effect play. All the elements seemed to work fine. I did use the elevator platform and enjoyed the big bounce! Good work, keep it up!

Quote from Instantiation on February 4, 2012, 10:00 pmI spent a while on the first room, and in the end I didn't really need the elevator. For a while it was stuck partially up, making it hard to use. The goo never killed me when I landed in it, which is a bit of a problem.
I didn't really appreciate the purpose of that lone turret. *shrug*
And then, suddenly, I found myself at the exit. Neat.
Then you got clever with world portals. The sequence that solved the next room was pretty neat.
