[Solved] Lighting up a Custom Core's Eye?
Quote from Harl on August 13, 2012, 11:58 pmI was wondering if someone could assist me with a problem I've been having concerning a custom core. I created the replacement eye and was able to place it accordingly onto the model but when I place it onto the test map with another "official core", it becomes evident that while replaced, my custom core's eye is not lighting up.
The official cores have eyes that sort of "glow in the dark"; you see them when the room is completely dark (even without the flashlight turned on). My custom core's eye does not allow light through at all. How can I fix this?
I've already tried adjusting the transparency settings on the custom eye but it doesn't help. The VTF file I edited was personality_sphere_lights03. Everything else is exactly the same.
I can post screenshots tomorrow if necessary.
Cheers!
