Repulsion Gel Maker for Portal 1
Quote from IAmCaveJohnson on June 14, 2011, 6:24 pmHello, people, at the moment I am trying to make repulsion gel for portal 1, I have managed to make that, but there isn't really a puzzle unless you have something that sprays the gel. Most of you will probably suggest "Buy Portal 2" . I already have Portal 2, for the xbox, because my computer's not good enough for its graphics.I need help figuring out how to make repulsion gel sprayers, overall.
Here's a method I tried:
Used a model for the gelMade the model break on touch
Used 3 point_templates and 3 entity makers.
made a trigger_push.
made an info_projecteddecal.
the rest is self explanatory, parenting stuff, etc.

I guess you could try to make a particle effect with collision or something... I really don't know much about making particle effects but its surely worth a try.

Yes, it does. If it doesn't you forgot to copy the included materials.

It may be a problem with the vmf, because the ball won't even break
