Question about Portal 2 3D skyboxes

Valve also has some silhouettes of test chambers that they used in chapter 9, seen behind Wheatley's final chamber, and periodically throughout the chapter. There are also a few textures like cranes, that are used in skyboxes for the underground and the wake-up scene at the beginning of the game. Besides these though, you would need custom models for the 3D skybox.

Quote from Lpfreaky90 on August 10, 2013, 3:29 pmYes, you don't need models for the skybox. Quite often where valve used skyboxes in portal 2 it was already quite far away where it wasn't such a problem if the skybox was less detailed.
What valve also did was putting in the silhouette models in the skybox, as a 3d- skybox!
