I figured the white panels were to far apart to do that (@ 3:35 in the video). It was supposed to be the venting pressure to move them. Same as with the next chamber (2nd last chamber). Use the vent pressure to catch the cube. Then portal over to the corner to retrieve it. But when you tractor beamed with a cube to the very last chamber, that was very much unexpected.

or, deactivated a button (cube removed ) while standing on the raised flip panel - had to jump when activating to avoid getting caught - maybe not intended...but definitely the way to get up to the next level...
