[PTI] Turret Repulsion

Repulsion gel is needed to get through the chambers, but it`s mostly used to mess up those turrets and get past them. There`s plenty of windows between chambers so you can see all that wonderful turret death awaiting you. This puzzle also includes tractor beams and flip panels. Just remember that angled panels and gel can do a lot more than you think. So be creative.

My 70th puzzle.
Enjoy.

Edit: The second chamber where the second set of turrets has been edited. The button to activate the tractor beam has been moved farther back as well as a slight change in portalable walls. The targeting angle of the those turrets has been changed. The game-play or intended solution still remains the same.

Thanks RectorRocks for finding that.

Fun map, but damn turrets are annoying >_<

Spoiler
-One of the glass bugged. See 17:53 of the video.

5/5. Excellent.
Cheers! :)

I didn't think you'd make it past that second set of turrets by bouncing.

Spoiler
I should have made that wall just one portalable panel that is used to push the cube off the tractor beam, or relocated it. It's not the tractor beam that's used to get rid of those turrets. The solution is to bounce off the floor and fling past them in one long bounce, and get to the button for the flip panel. Then portal back, then portal the flip panel, and then portal some gel at them.
I might upload a walk-thru. Others might want the solution.
As you can see in the last part,
Spoiler
gel spews out of the floor in a backwards direction from where you are standing, instead of the way you're facing.LOL.

As for that part at 17:53 of the video, that was a glitch in the PTI editor. The glass wall placed itself like that for some reason, so I left it like that.

There are two versions of this map in your workshop. You are aware of that? Anyway, I subscribed to the newer version and struggled at the same place as RectorRocks in the older version. Here is my blind run: http://youtu.be/4Zmm44vFL4U

At first I thought that perhaps I used the same name from a map I made way back and forgot it was there considering the number of maps I have. But when I looked at my workshop I realized what happened. We can blame that one on Steam. Usually when we re-edit a map and republish it, it over-writes itself. But for some reason it didn't and gave me a new item. The old one has been removed.

You did use some unintended solutions, such as

Spoiler
popping up out of the portal and sneaking up on the third set of turrets. That's probably the only part of the puzzle where there's lesser distance between the player and the turrets and allowing the player to get to them before they have a chance to target the player.
As for the second set of turrets, that was a slight bit unintended. I will shortly upload a walk-thru showing the intended solution.

Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to upload and share your video.
Cheers.
The SnowFerret (that's waiting for warmer spring-like weather and all this snow to go away)

The video walk-thru.

Arrgh, tried to download but seems to be a problem, update maybe but no update to link? will try again some other time....

Edit: Glad I came back - another excellent map - nothing more fun than downing turrets...
Thanks for creating...

Fixed. If you click on "current file", it should work. At first I thought "didn't I fix this already?" But that was the second time it happened where Steam uploads a second item instead of over-writing the old one when I republish an edited map. With this one, it was the first time it happened and I forgot to edit the link here after deleting the old one on the workshop. You should be good to go now. I'll know to watch for that next time. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
