[PTI] Perpetual Multiplex
Quote from SkyFerret on January 31, 2013, 10:57 amMultiplexed levels that consists of portalling and some perpetual portal flinging. There's no lasers or laser fields, cube droppers or goo ponds. It basically flip panels and angled panels with some being timed as well as fizzler fields. It's also a bit huge with some large glass barriers that show other chambers for a more aesthetically pleasing look. Quick aim required at about medium difficulty.

Here's my blindrun:
Pwfd5LBG_cQ-The faith plate at the first area is buggy. Sometimes it doesn't fling the player to the required height.
-The timing of the first area is a bit too rush.
-The design of the second area, the "maze-like area", is unique, but I don't like how if you screwed it up, you need to start all over again. (Or you actually don't...idk)
-The third area is weird. Does it require quick-aim? Is my solution intended?
-The last area's fling is unexpected, and it caught me by surprise. It requires quick-aim, which I suck at. However I like how you need to fling to the faith plate by momentum.5/5.
Cheers!

Quote from SkyFerret on February 2, 2013, 6:09 amThe faith plate in the first part is a bit buggy. You have to, as you probably noticed, approach it from behind.
As for the timing, a bit tight. All the more challenging. But for the second part, yeah, F6 is useful. I try not to make puzzles that involve frustrating Start-Overs.
The third part you did as the intended solution. It does take a bit of quick aim.
As for the last part, at least you nailed it on the second shot.
Thanks for uploading your video.

I don't think I've played any others that gave such a good sense of height in the flings, and I love hwo you found so many ways to jazz up the old multiple-level-floor-portal-height-gain thingie. Thanks

Quote from SkyFerret on February 6, 2013, 3:06 pmThanks. Glad you liked it. That one probably took the longest to build. So many different view angles to plan out making sure there's no other ways of unintended solutions (unless someone finds one I missed). Seeing that it was big, I figured I'd make it as panoramic as possible with some extra windows. Hmmm, windowed view
