[PTI] Logicubes

A little brain teaser. Not too hard unless you're new to portal.

:D!
That was awesome!
Everything from

Spoiler
switching cubes around to get into the second area to placing the cubes while jumping from the top of the elevatorplatform
took some thought!

Thanks :)

Thanks for playing. You don't really need to

Spoiler
place the cubes *while* jumping
. I'm curious how you did it, though. You could have done it differently than what I intended.

Hehe, I'd record a vid but it takes so many tries!
I sort of

Spoiler
left one cube bouncing in floor portals in front of the laser to get the other round the corners and onto the button. Then I placed one portal close to the button, one next to the elevator, hit the button and jumped through onto the elevator. At the top of the elevator I jumped into a portal, and other other side grabbed one cube each time, bringing them back up onto the platform. From there I placed a portal juust in front of where each cube needed to be, and one by one jumped down with the cube, placed it, and jumped bacck up to grab the other...
. Then I skipped out the door :)

Would love to know what was intended!

Pretty close, except

Spoiler
you can press the button while crouching on the piston elevator and you can drop the cubes from the raised grating area. Cubes drop in height over time when dropped into floor portals so you just have to remove the portal from under them when you think they won't bounce out of position when they hit the ground
.

Haha, that's exactly what I did the first time around.. but it felt tedious, so I jumped :)

Well, this one was a real thinker! I sat there with two cubes on the buttons by the door for the longest time wondering "well, now what?" Until I finally realized that I had used the wrong portal to get the second cube out. The rest, for me, was easy enough to figure out, but the execution was pretty difficult. What a nice puzzle, with varied elements and required techniques that you don't see very often.

Thanks for all your kind comments. On the downside, this is gonna be a tough act to follow...

Take your time. I have a few more of your maps to play through. I'll see you on the other side, and Good Luck!
