[PTI] Fast Corridors
Quote from SkyFerret on August 3, 2012, 4:17 amThe sixth edition to the series. Speed gel is the theme for this addition to the series. Navigate from one chamber to the next. Some chambers require getting up to another level to continue. Speed gel, tractor beams and one light bridge near the end. Flip panels and some wall mounted buttons included.

Feedback
First chamber:
This chamber was a little "dangerous", I thought my solution didn't work, luckily it did. xP Was it meant to be solved like this?
Second chamber:
This chamber was a little easy.
Third chamber:
This chamber was creative, but did I solved it in the intended solution?
Fourth chamber:
Was a little confusing, as I didn't know wheres the exit. But it was really creative to fling with the bridge.Good job!
5/5. I hope you make more maps in the future!

Quote from SkyFerret on September 2, 2012, 4:20 amYou did the first chamber pretty much spot on bro. As you can see, it takes some portal switching.
You managed to get the cube into that remote area separated by the goo pond by portal switching, then another portal switch to tractor beam it up to the button. The actual solution I had in mind, was to portal switch, and yes, the cube falls from the button on the ceiling, and flings into the other chamber. Then, while it's airborne in that remote chamber, do a portal switch to the tractor beam and send it to the button.
So I guess either way, yes, that's pretty much it.
As for the third chamber (which you managed to give the entire place a new coat of orange
) yes, that was the intended solution.
Fling from the ramp and get sent into the tractor beam.
.
You mentioned you didn't know where the exit is. In that smaller chamber just before the last (which you nailed it spot on), if you look up just past the flip panel and a little to the right, there's a glass partition. Behind it is the exit door. If you missed it, it could have been that you were focused on the puzzle. Something to keep in mind in the future when map making.
Thanks for sharing the video.
Cheers.
